Heidelberg University is Germany’s Top University

Report’s recently released worldwide Colleges and Universities rankings
confirmed Heidelberg University’s position as Germany’s top university.
Thanks to its overall academic excellence and particular strengths in
the Arts & Humanities, Natural Sciences, and Life Sciences and
Biomedicine, Germany’s oldest university (founded in 1386) has a
consistently solid ranking among the world’s top comprehensive
universities. Heidelberg University is known for its international
focus with almost 20 percent of all students and 30 percent of doctoral
students coming from abroad.
The U.S. News & World Report’s rankings are based on data from the
THE-QS World University Rankings, which were produced in association
with QS Quacquarelli Symonds. QS Quacquarelli Symonds, one of the
world's leading networks for careers and education, has been publishing
world rankings since 2004.
